well, you and your friend sure write the same way (punctuation, caps, writing style, etc.). I say, just put a 5 second clip, it will not hurt anyone. It
won't hurt Whitney because it's a damn 5 second clip, it will simply create more hype. And it won't hurt your friend because according to him,
tons of people in the industry have heard samples of the songs, so it could be anybody. And of course nobody will doubt you. But so far, all your comments
are very vague... More details or a very small clip would be appreciated... Right now, we are learning nothing new from you

Yeah, describe the song(s) you heard. Even if it was just 10 or 15 seconds.

draug wrote:Oh God.. Why did you have to say this? Why? You are correct, the writing style is exactly the same as earlier posts from Ronnie. I want to believe this soooo badly but now you bring this up and I'm thinking...why would someone ever give this much information...if the label looks at this board (like everyone seems to think) it would be easy for them to figure out who is leaking information by seeing who from the label is at this hip hop festival. I will never trust anyone on this board, ever again if this is BS. It's all too...hmm, how shall I say, perfect or staged perfectly. Something is NOT right with this entire story.... He pushed it saying that he thinks she is going to sell 1million first week out. That is just ridiculous for someone at a label to suggest. Also, this qoute, "it's the music her REAL FANS FROM THE EARLY 90S would LOVE" seems odd for someone at the label to make. I SMELL A RAT!!!! Anyone else? U will need to give up a snippet |

Ronnie/Ronnie's friend, tell us the titles of the 5 singles. Who produced each one?
Describe the first single, the tempo, type out the chorus, etc. How many songs did RKelly do? |

Come on Classic Whitney members wake up these rumors are FALSE. I spoke with Larry Jackson today he is the A&R guy for Whitney's project and he
told me "Whitney upcoming album is a big project they will not release any official news until the album is complete. He also went on to say that there is
no way that anyone could have any new Whitney recordings because the label is keeping all Whitney's completed track locked after the LINL leak". And
as far as the Photo shoot he says "that hasn't even been disgusted or talked about she is not done recording yet and he also said the album will be
out next year".
You can call and ask for Jessic at 212.833.7212 if you want to know when the photo shoot happens or takes place this is the creative art department for Song/Bmg. |

What I don't understand, is that Ronnie seems to like this board, he's been here a while. If he is making this stuff up, he will for sure get banned.

I am not saying that it is not true but I agree that it's pretty vague. I don't know what to think, we shall wait and see, as usual.

If you can't post a clip of the song, perhaps a clip of her speaking? I can see no harm in it.
I'm usually not skepticall about rumors here. If people come here and tell some news they heard from a source, there, i'll believe it! And if it turns out not to be true, that's 'aight, i'll just wait for the next one and hope it's legit. BUT!, there is only so much we can take, and that is oh so very wonderful and perfect... and you guys had to write the same, exact, freaking way? I do wanna believe it, but I can't stop myself from feeling like a fool when I read the "friend's" post. Do not take this the wrong way, I'll continue trying to believe every single thing, as will a lot of people here. I can understand how you must feel if what you're saying is true, and I think you can understand our position here, by putting yourself in our shoes. |

"I do wanna believe it, but I can't stop myself from feeling like a fool when I read the "friend's" post. "
I don't understand why he would come up with such a story, he's been here for a little while.

I was believing the news until I saw the friend's post. Like someone else said, the writing style is 100% like Ronnie's. It would make sense if they
were really really close friends, but even then, people generally don't write that much alike unless its an amazing coincidence.
sorry Ronnie |

But then again, Ronnie has been a member of this board so long I don't see why he would make something up for no reason. So perhaps its just an amazing
coincidence indeed that the friend writes exactly like Ronnie. But it is fishy
Ronnie maybe you can give us a LYRIC in the song or something? Anything at all that's not overly vague. Something that we can look back and say when the Album is finally released that "Wow Ronnie said this that time and it turned out to be 100% true" |

I must say that RAMALE is correct. These rumors about having clips of Whitney singing in the studio on a cell phone are false. First thing to know about Clive
and the recording process (especially when it comes to this Whitney project) is that the studio is usually treated like Fort Knox. Only necessary personnel are
allowed inside when an artist is cutting a vocal. No A&R people, no managers, no publicists. No one. Of course, Clive himself has no way of knowing who is
in the studio or not. But when a producer is commissioned for a project, confidentially is top of mind. Clive would be quick to dimiss the producer should the
song leak. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Akon doesn't make the album at all, let alone "Like I Never Left".
Also, what I find odd is how this supposed source knows about the entire promotional campaign, with interviews and all. Usually someone on the music side (writers, producers, musicians, etc) is NOT initimately involved in knowning any details whatsoever about the promotional schedule of the artist. Sure, they may know if the label is going to push their song as a single, but that's it. So, unless this person is the A&R exectuive for Whitney (which I highly doubt) I wonder just what is this person's function inside BMG. I myself work as an assistant to Mickey Wright, who is A&R at Jive Records, which is under the BMG umbrella. So yes, my screenname is a bit of a misnomer. |
