Why would you want an album with Whitney's voice sounding like shit? It is obvious that she is HEALTHY and ALIVE so the obvious conclusion is that her
voice SUCKS and she's been working on it. Do you think it is a coincidence that the only confirmed RECORDED tracks have been uptempo and now we are hearing
reports of her in Chicago to record with R. Kelly and calling David Foster for the ballads???
If she released this album 2 years ago with a crackling voice you would have bitched about it and said, "hell I would have waited 4 more years if we could have gotten a GOOD cd!" Just give it a rest because at least Whitney's not on drugs and the ONLY explanation at this point is HER VOICE which hopefully will recover to a degree...and if it doesn't....don't be so sure you WANT a new Whitney album. |

I'm on the verge of what *might* be news....
Last time I mentioned about the release being around April. Well, that is still mostly speculation. Haven't heard anyone confirm or deny (which means it could be later in the year). One thing I know is that it won't be anytime before March. Clive is determined to see that Kelly Clarkson doesn't have another failed disc. They're going to start working her single next month for her March release date. I also mentioned the working title of the album being "The Whitney Houston Affair". Well, turns out that is also unofficial. The story behind it is that folks working on the project got tired of refering to it as "Untitled Whitney Houston Project" and began to call it the The Whitney Houston Affair. I'm almost certain it WON'T be the offiicial title. But one can't be too sure. Still waiting on the holy grail of info, BUT...I have heard that Cissy and Dionne were rumored to be cutting vocals for the album. Oh, and "Like I Never Left" was written by Claude Kelly, who has also penned at least one other song for the album. My thought is that the first song, LINL, will be scrapped in favor of the new one(s). He had the same thing happen with the Akon and MJ song, which coincidentally was written for Whitney. I think that's how the rumors started about a possible Whitney and MJ duet. Hopefully more to come...soon. |

month ago that Whitney won't come out before Kelly Clarkson because I knew Clive wanted Kelly back on top or her career would be in shambles. And I could
probably name a few titles that I'm almost certain WON'T be the title also.

That is the funniest thing Ive heard all year long I cant stop laughting your really entertaining. Please add my name to that petition list that Cissy nor Dionne be anywhere involved in this project, not even background vocals. "Family First" was
such a mess that everytime I skip the ending of Daddy's Little Girls so I will not will not have to hear that! I honestly do not believe that idea was
even considered! On a serious note, if Kelly Clarkston's album will be released in March, when do you really expect Whitney's to come out? Looks like
at this time Arista is releasing one big act a quarter, so that will most definitely leave Whitney at least 2nd quarter, just a thought
