it struck me that I have become so desensitised to modern music I've stopped actually listening to words and voices, just focusing and appreciating the beats.

The more I hear it, the more I love it. The perfection is in the imperfection, the raw emotion, and her connection to the lyrics. There is nothing like this
going on right now. Listening to this has awakened me to how much less we as music fans have been settling for while Whitney was absent, particularly in the
R&B realm. Her diction, her phrasing, remain second to none. I can' wait to hear her rip through this live.

I really don't understand the people who say it doesn't matter whether it charts at 1 or 100. This album has had money put into it - recording costs,
producers, promotion. Of course, the record company needs this project to be a MAINSTREAM success. This can't just be an album for the fans otherwise it
will end up in obscurity like Just Whitney and One Wish.
And about the Lady Gaga and whatever comparisons. Whitney has never targeted that audience, that is Mariah Carey's job, so those arguments are just wrong. But I know there must be more radio friendly songs on this album than this song. |

That's why a lot of us are genuinely not worried about the chart positioning of this one song. There's no doubt in my mind that "I look to you" will top the charts and sound modern enough to be a monster hit at radio. But each song has it's purpose I don't think "number one" is the purpose of 'IDKMOS'. With that being said, I wouldn't be surprised if it did go to number one- cuz it's that good to me. |

I feel everyone is entitled to their own opinion whether they like the song or not. Whatever float their boat!
As I said before it is just a song and I am just so over the moon that with her voice. For me the main wait of her return primarily is her voice. That's the major part of the battle for her return! So roll on the new album and then all the live performances and hopefully a world tour! Long live the new Whitney!!! |

currently untitled, it was previously referred to as Undefeated. It also could include production and songwriting from will.i.am, Sean Garrett and Akon,
