We can truly understand your loss and the deep pain you feel right now, as we have been enduring our own loss since June 25, 2009. If you need a place to grieve with mature fans who understand, we invite to join us on Monday, February 13th at 7 PM Pacific time for the online show 'Michael Jackson Radio' on Ustream. When Michael Died I Felt That Music Was Turn Into Another Direction! I Felt That Music Was Lost! Even Though I Was Just A Fan, I Was Not A Big Fan! I Never New How It Felt! I Was Like "Why Is Everyone That Emotional! You Have Never Met Him!" But I Know It Was A Great Loss For Music Especially For Us Black People! But Now As This Is Happening To Us...Now I Know Why! I Truly Feel The Pain You Guys Felt When Michael Died! Forgive Me For Feeling The Way I Did When Michael Died! Thank You Guys For Your Support! We Should Try To Stick Together Because We Lost Two Greats That Helped Shaped Our Generation! Thank You Very Much!

If anyone knows what you all are going through its us, and sure like what was said about us, 'you did'nt even know him', 'why are you crying',........people don't get that these artist were much more to us than singers, entertainers,....we cared about them as human beings and always wished the best for them, they reached us like no other artist has and ever will. This is like deja vu for me and again, so sorry that this will now be a shared experience for us all. God bless!

And I just... can't believe I have experienced such a huge loss twice in a short time! I still haven't gotten used to MJ being gone at all. So surreal that the King and Queen are gone. One of the things spinning through my head yesterday was that I am kind of glad MJ is not around to see this tragedy. It would have killed his soul... He was one of the biggest Whitney Stans ever. Celine always said MJ and Whitney inspired her to pursue GLOBAL superstardom, and now they are both gone. I don't think there are two other singers on the planet who have influenced 99.99% of EVERY singer that is around and WILL be around. Every single one of them in part because they wanted to be like Whitney, or they wanted to be like MJ. Even the ones who have other favorites. The world without them makes little sense. But all we can do is take the memories and the inspiration and run with them. Forever.

I thought it was irrational, tbh. But when Michael was reported in the hospital and I found myself praying through tears for 10 minutes straight? I got it. Then the worst was confirmed and I broke down in front of my sister and mother. My mom said a prayer for me and MJ and I took a warm bath. I still remember that day. Yesterday? Another unexpected event. I just finished having my shower when my sister pounded on my door, and I was simultaneously seeing a BREAKING NEWS title on CNN. Good God, I stopped breathing! I knew it was bad. The name "Whitney Houston" would have never occurred to me though...I thought it was Shirley Bassey! (God forbid!). Then my sister said it and I just gasped. A celebrity death CAN affect you, depending on how influential the person was and how HUGE the star was in your life. It really can!!!!!

Not just for the unmatched artistry but for what they both went through, and how they persevered through it all, and their personal qualities. I felt like I knew both Whitney and Michael even better than my own family, and whenever anything went wrong in my life I could look to them for inspiration and escapism. The anticipation of new music, new photos, new appearances and award show surprises was enough to get me through the absolute worst events of my life. When tragedy struck MJ I couldn't eat for a week and lost much of my musical interests after that day; I have that same sickness now for Whitney. I will never become attached to another artist again; too painful and frankly there are no other artists even close to Whitney and MJ. Thankfully both artists left timeless music and video for us, but knowing how many more decades they had to give to the world is what destroys me. Take care everyone. Award shows will never be the same...
