I did calculate Waiting To Exhale, although I felt that at 3 songs which were all singles, it was at an unfair advantage. Technically, it is not a studio album anyway. So Waiting To Exhale and The Greatest Hits are shown at the bottom with their score for anyone interested. To calculate the score I gave each song a score. I Will Always Love You got the highest score of 105 points and I worked my way down the line, taking into consideration ties and songs that were not on any of her albums. The songs that were shaded gray on Manish's list received a score of 0. I than totaled the score for each album and divided the score by the number of tracks on the album. These were the results, with their average score:1. The Bodyguard - 82.082. I Look To You - 66.453. Whitney Houston - 58.354. My Love Is Your Love - 56.855. Whitney - 56.006. I'm Your Baby Tonight - 53.327. The Preacher's Wife - 42.798. Just Whitney - 34.109. One Wish - 15.83** Waiting To Exhale averaged 81.83 and would have placed second if included, but I found that to be an unfair measurement against full studio albums.**The Greatest Hits tracks that were either new or not on a prior album scored an average of 49.17, which would have landed it in 8th place, but I also did not want this included with actual studio albums.Interesting to note how high "I Look To You" fared on the overall list! The higher ranking here is due to the lowest ranking track on the album being "Worth It"(which is surprising in itself!). Whereas the "Whitney Houston" album had multiple tracks ranked lower than "Worth It", dragging the average down. "I'm Your Baby Tonight" and "The Preacher's Wife" were also hindered by multiple tracks getting a score of 0 and pulling down their overall averages.

Somewhat shocked to see Family First higher than so many, but I imagine the songs toward the bottom were only in one person's top 20. Very shocked at After We Make Love being so high(#27). I always had the impression that wasn't so well liked. Interesting you say that about 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas' as I've always recognised the vocal performance of the song as one of Whitney's best in her final decade. It is reminiscent of what I regard as the sweet soul of Whitney. I am also surprised about 'After We Make Love', but I do not like that song at all. The other surprise for me is that 'Eternal Love' did not make the grade at all whereas 'Memories' is ranked at No.60. I played both on Monday, the 4 month anniversary, and I think 'Eternal Love' may be the better song for me. manish.
