Every change into head voice/falsetto was Whitney's interpretation, not notes that are written into the song. So when everyone else does that it is just a copycat version. But Heather can pull it off better than most.

You can clearly hear her Trini accent which is cool. Heather love her some Whitney.There are many interviews where Heather is giving Whitney her props before Whitney died.When most singers wouldn't mention Whitney's name in interviews Heather Monica and Jennifer Hudson were always giving Whitney love.They truley loved Whitney so I don't them getting their shine on in the vain of WH because at the end of the day they showed her love before her passing and they truley love Whitney. Heather is such a great talent very very underrated if you ask me.

Yes, she has a unique tone and an accent, but that doesn't mean she made the song her own. She copied Whitney's adlibs. It's fine, it's just not her own. As for tributes of this song, I'll agree with TheMan, that for me, Jennifer Hudson at BET Honors is still the best performance outside of Whitney's. But Heather's was very good too.

But she does have a great voice and range overal. Liked some of her notes near the end and what she did with the ending parts there.
