...and in Feb 2009 we will say we should expect a release for November 2009.
...and in November 2009, we will conclude that the release will happen in March 2010. ...and in March 2010 some insider will ask us to wait nutil October 2010 for the release. ...and in October 2010 we will hope for February 2011 to have the album in our hand. ....does it ring a bell???? |

whether it was believed to be real or fake, it was too far fetched to have ever been real.

Maybe they cancelled the album and went back to work because many fans bitched about "Like I Never Left" and said that it wasn't good enough and they want "I Will Always Love You" vocals. Personally I loved LINL and I think it suits Whitney's new voice, I'm sure she's tired of singing songs like DWAHIA and having to be worried about hitting the notes at this point of her career. She already has plenty of songs like that in her repertoire. Maybe she wants more relaxed songs so that she can have other options if she's not having good days vocally because we know she won't lipsynch like Mariah and Celine. But I guess the fans don't want nice r&b jams with a clear sounding voice, they want her belting away high notes, so they probably tested the waters with LINL but realized that many fans were disappointed. So now they kind of delayed the album. But see, in my opinion, a song like LINL is perfect for today's radio, that's what's popular today and I'm not sure if radio will play power ballads and if they will be considered "cool". Anyway we'll see! Like I said in my previous post Whitney can't win, people will always bitch about something. lol |

Ok, that's your opinion, and I respect it, of course. Mine is that LINL is one of the most boring, plain, simple and sad songs I've heard in
months...Listen to "single's ladies", "Womanizer", Justin Timberlake, ...
I want a catchy track, not a one that sleeps me and makes me feel bored. |

Well, if Touch My Body can hit no.1, then LINL should be a LOCK for no.1. LINL has better lyrics, better singing and is actually mature and classy. I
wasn't saying that it's an incredible song, I was saying that it was a smart song that current radio will eat up.

Yes, they are not very good, but they are catchy, they attrack your attention and invite you to dance, to have fun. They are kinda similar to "It's
not right but it's OK"...I'm not asking great vocals now....I want energy, life, rhythm.

I think if Whitney Houston is bored of singing songs like DWAHIA and the like, then she may as well be over, and never release another album, single, or ever sing again. She's known for her unmistakable talent for turning even the simplest of lyric, into a glorious ballad or love song. She has said herself that she loves classic melodies, lyrics, love songs. Sure, he midtempo and uptempo stuff is good, but it will never be all about those records, her career and her fans love her because of the ballads. Draug - I wouldnt say they scrapped the album either on the back on one, record, like, LINL. It wasnt that deep, the song was not completed, and it was simply leaked by its producer. I fear for that, he wont make the final cut. |
