I'm really really disappointed! Not so much that Whitney wasn't there. But like others have said, Bet used Michael for ratings. Overall the show
sucked! There were so moments that I enjoyed but to have spread it over almost four hours is beyond ridiculous!
Another note, it was really good to see Tevin Campbell tonight! Definate fan here. Still can sing! |

I am so pissed right now. Not because Whitney wasnt on but because they used Michael to get ratings. This man did so much for african american entertainers and

The only other parts of the show I liked were when Monica joined KC on stage and showed up KC vocally for the umpteenth time and when Alicia and Wyclef got the Humanitarian Award. |

Using Michael's name to draw in viewers is a disgusting tacky move. Now I know why I've never subscribed to BET in the past and never will again!!! So sick of Jamie & Ne-Yo singing, they obviously couldn't get anyone with clout to attend the BET awards in Michael's honor! Very sad! So much to be said but I digress.... BET is such a disgrace!!! |

This was so DISRESPECTFUL of BET! The show was awful and the worst I have ever seen. ALL the performances were boring and lackluster and the whole vibe of the

Disappointed, but happy that Whitney's name will not be associated with that nonsense. I agree they used Michael's death for ratings and I hope they
rip them apart in the media. Truth is, BET has sucked ever since the original owner sold it to Viacom. It has since been an embarrassment. This show epitomizes
that.
