Whitney Video Countdown - Part 8
"I Have Nothing" was the third single off the hit soundtrack The Bodyguard and was Whitney's first song to be nominated for an Academy Award for "Best Original Song". The video was directed by Steve Barron, who also directed the videos for Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean", Madonna's "Burning Up" and the innovative music video for A-Ha's "Take On Me". Similar to the other videos from The Bodyguard soundtrack, "I Have Nothing" is interspersed with scenes from the hit movie and shows Whitney singing to guests at a dinner party. With a beautiful beaded head-piece and matching gown, Whitney lets her voice take center stage. Within a month of its release in February 1994, Whitney had 3 songs in the top 11 slots of Billboard's Hot 100 chart: "I Will Always Love You", "I'm Every Woman" and "I Have Nothing". strong rumors where? on mariah message boards? lambs trying to create a feud since her album is not even a blip on anyone's radar. whitney moving up her
album release to 8/25 would be the biggest favor she ever did for mariah.
i dont think they would push up the album this late in the game when so much is still in the works. they havent even released a single yet. |

There would be no reason to push it up to August 25th unless they want that special to air while the album is IN STORES for people to go an pick up.
But there has been SO many publications that have said September 1, I doubt they would change it now. |

Can anyone at the listening party confirm this? Sounds like BULL! I can imagine a few songs over 5 minutes but almost all of them are! I don't believe it.

Okay I absolutely love all of her albums, but the MLIYL cd just still floors me. The song "Oh Yes" still gets to me on so many different levels,
it's a great groove type song. I was so hoping for another Missy collaboration, like a continuation of this song. Am I weird for feeling that way?
