Sounds like maybe the DJ's were only given an acapella version of the song and had to work their own magic, not a fan of mix but I'm excited to hear
her voice again.

sounds like a different mix from the others we've heard before (the other one is better), but you got a taste of pretty much the whole song here!!!!!! |

hmm, her vocals are average, disappointing actually. much like 2004 with less raspiness. the range still isn't there. still talk-singing going on.
can't hit the high notes where there should be high notes. sigh.. |

the vocal itself is not the problem, its the HORRIBLE remix that throws you off. The music actually over is so crappy that it actually makes it hard to
appreciate the vocals more. I'm happy but yet still want to hear the full version of the song...

I would suggest fast forwarding to the middle. You basically get the entire vocal of the song without the mix.

mcworld wrote: Its the arrangers/singers that determine where high notes are supposed to be, not us. This song was obviously arranged and written for a mezzo-soprano voice. Also, just because she doesn't hit high notes doesn't mean she can't anymore (even people with low voices can sometimes hit a high note here or there). Either way, people need to stop thinking of Whitney as a soprano. She is no longer a soprano, however, she has gotten her voice back very close to the timbre that we all fell in love with and she can still sing. Let's just try to appreciate her for what she is giving us now because its still better than all the other female voices out there. |

Is it just me or did that whole video just seem odd, cultish and down right freaky deaky! (IMB Kathy Griffin voice).
