I don`t understand why Mariah is so mentioned here. Both ladies are DIVAS. But they are in different music routes TODAY. Though both is still having real success. The reason she is so mentioned here is because Mariah fans like you continually bring her up, inject her in threads and have conversations about her here. This remix does not contain Whitney belted notes, and no first tenor can't Whitney notes. Whitney does hit a very high note.......... Pain, in
chest!!!!!!!!!!! Its a thin note, but the pitch is still very high like the end of One of Those Days. Also Whitneyluva listen to this run Whitney does in
Silverspoons. This one of her rare performance and contains the best run ever in my opinion. How did this women transition from head voice, into chest and do
that raspy oh oh baby........ That is sick........................

I understand what you're saying and I agree that you are not a "lamb". However, if you continually bring her up in ANY context, you are
mentioning her. That was your statement...that you didn't understand why she was mentioned so much here. Also, when you do mention her (however innocently
you may mean it) you are inviting the lambs to respond and then the thread gets hijacked and turned into a Whitney vs. Mariah debate. Surely you can see that.

Lets get one thing straight im not a mariah fan never will be. I brought her up because she is Whitney's current competition. I heard MJB might release an
album, as well as Toni. When Whitney debuted she was against Patti, Mikki, Madonna, Michael, Luther, Chaka, Aretha, Regina, Anita and countless others. Now
she's competing with MJB, Mariah, Toni, Keisha, Beyonce, Rhianna, Jennifer, and the AIs. That's a fact. She has to compete to sell. If not she'll
end up like Monica, Faith, Toni and many other singers who vocals were good but didn't have the image or the songs radio wanted to play. Lets not forget
the Motown days. The tracks were tested by audiences and you had to have a hit record. If not is was back to the drawing board. That's the point of being a
recording artist. If not you will be in the red as well as your company. It's hard enough to sell when your popular. Hell even Michael had a hard time
selling his latest albums(US).
Now Whitney has waited a long time and people are becoming impatient. I think Whitney the diva can sell millions. She should play on her image as a Diva. Her image will be key. Thats another reason people love Whtiney. They LOVE her as a diva. |

YESSSSSS I CAN'T WAIT. Honestly, I don't think she's gonna come back big on the charts. I can't see Whitney and what she has to offer (other than drama) going anywhere like No1 on Billboard. Her album might be No1 for a week or so, but I really don't see any kind of major success. But hopefully she proves me wrong because I'd love to see her diva side come back with a vengance!!
To be honest I think she could do better than Mariah. She's already higher on the pre-orders than Mimi, and Mimis albums is cheaper!
