It sounds like Junior was actually just playing the straight vocal. He just had a generic beat going with it on the other turntable. I seriously doubt that
this is one of his "real" remixes.

Seriously, what wrong with the way she sounds? Ya'll know I'd be the first to have something to say. I really think she's where she needs to be.
She sounds great. Not as far as the song goes, I need to hear the real version, so I can hear what she's singing to. Then I'm sure it'll make more
sense.
As far as her voice quality goes, I really don't know what more anyone wanted. She sounds better than she has in years and the quality of her singing is better than anything off JW and OW. Oh and you may as well skip to 5:30 in. |

don't like dance/club mixes to any song really. I will just take a nap on this one and wait on the original.

Just try to remember that context is everything guys. We're not hearing this song in it's proper context. I haven't liked many of her remixes but
typically loved her original recordings. I think the solemnity of the vocal is intended. It's strong and earnest.

remember this is another dj from the other clips we've heard before...i'm positive both dj's got only the vocals, but maybe Peter Rauhofer took the
actual time to mix the song whereas Junior Vasquez just played the vocals with some random beat, maybe at evening' start just for the song to be heard

Bobbymello - Shes sounds ok and the words sound ok but the remix is like an acapella version of the song over a rubbish beat. Really not a good mix. Im sure

first half remix was kinda bad, hence the general feeling of dispair, but when you listen to the 2nd half and there's more vocal (yet we can't make out
the tune of the song yet), it's very encouraging!

It was definitely a mistake to have let these club mixes leak before the official recording. Arista needs to release the single so the skepticism can be
squashed. Based on these vocals, I have no doubt that this is an amazing single in it's proper form. There is a reason that reMIXes come after the original
MIX. It wouldn't be wise to let these mixes ingrain themselves in the consciousness of music fans. Reviews are going to start pouring in based on these
remixes. It's time to step things up..again. Great job on marketing so far, but this was probably not the best decision.

WOW!!! Quite a vocal! Can't wait to hear the real Foster/Warren production. Remix isn't really a remix though. It sounds like he played some basic beat
under Whitney's acapella vocal making it sound more like a testimony more than a melody. Nice, but can't assess the song with that. However, this much
can be said. The vocal is GREAT! The voice is rich and clean, controlled, lots of emotion.
