Enter for a Chance to Win Entry to a Whitney Houston Listening Event!

In advance of her new album, I Look To You, there will be two listening events in mid-July for VIP Guests. As a special gift to the fans, we're giving you a chance to attend one of these events in either New York City on July 21 or in Los Angeles on July 23. Here's how you can enter:

Entrants must send an email to WhitneyHoustonContest@sonymusic.com and answer the question "Why should Whitney 'Look To You' for a special listening session?" in 50 words or less. Entrants must also include their name, email address, phone number and preferred listening location (New York City or Los Angeles) in the body of the email.

The contest ends July 13, 2009. Winners will be selected and notified on or around July 14, 2009. The prize does not include any additional expenses including, but not limited to incidentals, meals, telephone charges, travel insurance, souvenirs, transportation, federal, state and local sales or other taxes and surcharges which are the responsibility of the Winners.

I am thinking that we will probably be hearing the new single by the 21 of July as that is the first of the listening parties. I can't believe that they will wait until the end of July to release it as that would only give the album about 4wks for promotion to take off. That is risky indeed unless they are counting on a series of very high profile appearances..of which I can't think of any as GMA is in Sept after the album.

I am also continuing to believe that IDKMOS was an intentional leak by Arista. Whitney has been recording so long and we have only gotten 2 links...1 of which was suspect as Akon's album was coming out which would only help him to leak it and now this.

All over the net are leaks intentional or not of Jordin Sparks and multiple other artists and nothing from Whitney. They must have those tracks at Ft Knox.

I don't think they will release a single before the last lisstening event. It wouldn't suprise me if we don't see one untill the middle of next month

Be sure that almost everybody will be talking about Whitney's comeback when the first single comes out. So don't get too nervous. There will be strong promotion, I'm confident of that.

unless it is pushed back to november which has almost always been her released dates. If the song isnt out by the end of July, the album probably will be pushed back. here's to hoping that that won't happen.

If someone on this board should happen to be chosen to attend the listening party, these are the questions you will be hounded with by us (CW members)

1. What 'Whitney' does she sound like. TPW Whitney, MYIYL Whitney, JW Whitney or a Whole New Whitney?
2. What are the titles of the songs?
3. How many songs are on the cd?
4. Describe each and every song you heard in as much detail as possible, beginning with title, then style of song, then length of the song, and lyrics.
5. When you met Whitney, what wig was she wearing, the curly brown wig or a new fabulous wig?
6. Did she speak clearly to you when she addressed you? How clear, TPW Whitney clear, or TBG clear, or MLIYL clear.
7. What did she wear?, pants, jeans, gown, t-shirt, polo shirt, blouse.
8. What did she smell like? roses, tulips, lilacs
9. How did her teeth look? Did they fit her face well, or did they look to big for her mouth?
