Let the insecure lambs do as they must. They aren't going to influence anyone. Debates have been had time and time again on Classic Whitney and Classic
Divas and I don't think a single mind has ever been changed.
I would love it if someone could create a youtube video of some of the countless standing ovations Whitney has received throughout her career. Her presence and legacy speaks for itself. Whitney gets a bigger applause from walking on stage than most artists get after their performance is over. Madonna and the late, great Michael Jackson are the only ones who get/got a similar reception. |

hey650, thanks for posting that video! Like I said, THAT is what speaks for itself. Nobody but Aretha Franklin could put together a clip real of standing
ovations like that. And there are a lot of standing ovations that weren't even included on that reel. She was THE DIVA of this generation and this video
shows why. Her album sales and chart success are on par with the rest of the best...but they're admiration and reception after performances and appearances
are not on par with hers!
