Can someone explain to me why Whitney Houston with all her vocal issue is doing private gigs when she should be taking care of her voice? Could it be that money talks and bullsh..walks. Pat Houston with Whitney's blessing is pimping her out for the almighty dollar when she looks like she dying on stage. She probably should have just went the way of private gig to start with. We indeed need to be prayer for Whitney. Jeez. That's a good sign. But why doesn't she do some fitness? The way she's struggling on tour, this is the last thing she needed to do. It really is disheartening, but it certainly wouldn't be the first time Whitney allowed people close to her to use her senseless for their financial gain. Maybe this is the real reason why Cissy decided to fly across the globe. Hopefully she can help Whit in some way, talk some sense into her, give her vocal guidance, something. Either way, I am always praying for Whitney.

Why are you making the grand assumption about what occurred at this "private" show that somehow has a file of photos on Rex features. Pretty private, huh. Since you know so much, how long did she perform, how many songs? Surely you researched that information before drawing the conclusions you have drawn. And even if it was a full set, I fail to see how this is an indictment of Whitney's care of her instrument. After weighing all the pros and cons of doing an extra gig, you know it's possible that one could fairly come up with the decision that the gig would be worth doing. I'm just saying...and again, please tell me about this gig, since you know so much about it.

I personally don't mind the extra lbs just adjust the wardrobe accordingly! It's still strange though because with her, self-professed, new diet/eating habits, you would think she would be naturally toning up. Molto strano.... Sunday night she performs at the o2 to 20,000 with little voice and half walk out mid way,she gets absolutely mauled by the press.She explains she has no voice because of travelling on a 'ferry boat' and sings 'turn the air con off' as those two issues are why she has no voice!OK Whitney! Monday she performs with little voice at the o2 and more of the same.She has another date at the o2 Wednesday...so Whitney...are you going to try and rest your voice?Try to give the remaining 20,000 people on Wednesday a better show vocally?Try to claw back some of your reputation?No...what I will do is... Tuesday - fly...you know on one of those things with air con which is so good for her voice....travel to another country so I can be nice and rested...and why? Because it is the attitude of 'fuck the 20,000 fans on Wednesday and the press because I can play to 200 pissed up rich bastards and get the same fee croaking to them as I can the 20,000 at the o2 Wednesday!' Wednesday...o2...another no voice performance... I wonder why? When are people going to wake up and start expressing to Whitney and her people that it is simply not good enough. How can she have the barefaced cheek to say to the crowd on Wednesday 'thanks for your compassion' making out as though she is giving them her all and has prepared herself but it is her 'soprano friend being temperamental'...when in reality she hadn't... This is just more bad press and makes Whitney look like she is just going after as much cash as she can no matter what her physical and vocal condition. I'm all for people making money and part of me thinks that if people are willing to pay to see her at this point then Whitney& company think why not, lets, go get the $$$. Having said that, I think Whitney and her AMATEUR management team need to go read some Business 101 about customer service... Your fans (customers) feel like they are getting screwed and when they feel this way they may NEVER pay to see you again; it's very foolish! I agree that it's good for Whitney to stay busy and keep working but she could have done a movie, worked on her physical health and her vocals, etc. Christ, she is so out of shape and her voice is such a mess I think she could stay busy for a good year getting herself back together. She could have spent the time looking for new songs, doing some small shows here and there. She DID NOT need to stay busy doing a world tour that is so poorly scheduled for someone with poor vocals. Honestly, she could have done fewer shows and days apart. This latest "private show" really shows what she's and her team are all about... You have 20,000 paying to see you and your voice is shot and you fly to do a private show... SHOW SOME LOVE & RESPECT TO YOUR FANS! This tour has turned into the "Nothing But Greed World Tour." I would love to be a fly on the wall when Pat, Gary and Whitney discussing this tour and business. LOL. I can't get this picture out of my head of them talking about how much money they made that night, Pat counting up all the dollars, money flying around the room like the MDB video, and telling Whitney to just get out there and do it again, we're rich!.... oh and having a good little laugh about the entire situation... I mean it is kind of funny that Whitney can barley sing and she is RAKING in the money... She needs a professional management team... one that would have never let this disaster occur... It interesting how quiet the Arista team is. I would love to hear how Clive Davis feels about this and I'm kind of shocked that no one has asked him yet. Is he on record commenting at all about this tour? Maybe I missed it..
