It would only help out the public's perception. We're thinking the same re US promo on tv, however, your idea of an ILTY re-release is great. Toni Braxton has said that her album will be re-released. I believe that Leona Lewis' as well. However, no chance of that MLIYL 1999 tour dvd being release I'm afraid. @Milldollodivo: Another thing, Mariah was over exposed and coming off a flop album. That hurt her in her tour and her life isn't as interesting where people want to see her good or bad. p.s. I think the promotors and Live Nation or AEG - whomevr is working with her will select the markets that she plays in carefully. I only hope that they pace her for a show with 2 days in between, 3 shows a week as opposed to back to back dates. If they market her tickets well, radio give away, at least 2-3mths before ticket sales, tie the ticket sales to her album, fan contests on her official site and facebook to increase followers, she will be fine. If she slays MSG, that news will fly across the nation.

Even when she was getting negative press in Brisbane and UK most folks I know who are not even number 1 fans were like they were overexagerrating and Whitney don't sound that bad. If anything US fans know what to expect of Whitney vocals of today. It was folks overseas that were not familiar with everything that was so shocked buy it. In the US it is either you still like Whitney for where she is or you don't. Whitney has not lost alot of her fanbase in the US to be honest or period. If after Central Park people was still routing for Whitney in the US and she really did not get that many fans really complaining. Regardless Whitney US fans are going to her tour so some you guys need to stop worrying about her having a failed tour. Trust me I know what to expect when I pay to see Whitney and most US fans youtube performances and everything. The fans would pay the money to see Whitney!!!!!!!!!!!! The only issue with her coming to the US is she better be on point vocally for the most part cause this would really hurt somewhat her reputation as live act the next album in the US. Sure Whitney will have bad concerts, and bad nights that is a given on a tour!! However if most concert dates are good to excellent she will have no problems in States and her next album and tour will be even better. To be honest, Whitney does have to beast out vocally in the States to regain her reputation at some point whether this tour or the next one. She knows this herself thats why she started overseas to prep her voice.

Whitney really does not have to do that much promo either to sell out in the states especially major cities. I know folks already planning and hoping Whitney comes back even from what they heard on youtube. In all honesty, it some of us fans on the board who are the most harsh and hard on Whitney vocals. Like I used to be at the clubs and my friends use to be like Whitney ripped like all he songs in Moscow but just messed up on IWALY. Some US fans don't even want to hear IWALY because they are either tired of the song, or they don't expect perfection from her like folks overseas. We fans in the US know the deal so we know what to expect when paying for Whitney. I am not worrying nor is Whitney worrying about getting old fans back who lost interest in her. Whitney said it in 2002 you either love me or leave me! Those fans who lost interest in Whitney are not really that much. Whitney did not lose to much of her fanbase and the sells went down like that cause of there were no radio hits not a lost of fanbase. No matter what the critics say the true fans are not going anywhere. I think what kept alot of Whitney's fanbase is the fact she divorced Bobby, she is known to be sober, and that Oprah interview where she discussed drugs and her old marriage honestly. That helped Whitney out alot in US. Whitney would have major problems if she was trying to comeback and she was still married to Bobby especially after Being Bobby Brown. Mad folks in US are just happy that Whitney kicked him to the curb and she is alive and well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To be honest US fans care less about IWALY perfection and look at Whitney beyond IWALY. Whitney at this point can rip all of her other songs even in hoarse condition and thats good. To be honest Whitney voice was hoarse and she was coughing alot in the last two concerts and she was able to sing mostly all her songs well besides IWALY. Please ILTY alone will make folks come to Whitney's show...... Basically, there are no mainstream divas in the US really bringing it live now and even Whitney half voiced sounds better than the girls trying to sing now. Most of US fans know that Whitney has to build to level of perfection we are used to hearing her and that will take some time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whitney can now sing material that many of us probably felt like was out of the question at one point. But Whitney should the hit TV shows and help dispel the myth that her voice is gone.

I am telling you guys Whitney is not done and the vocals would be mad mad better after the tour overseas and when she comes to US. This only the beginning for Whitney cause she is loving performing and singing again. This album in the end of it all would have a very successful tour and it will probably end up selling between 3-5 million when its all said in done. The next album now she will be a complete beast on. Its too soon for a new album. I want a new album 2011-2012 from Whitney where she just beasting and then another tour somewhat the last tour as a big mainstream artist. Then she does albums when she feels like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll leave the touring idea up2 her as much as I'd love 2 see her in person -- I understand if she chooses not to as this time. Overall I'd just like to see her promoting her album & songs by singing, interviews various shows throughout the U.S.

I THINK there's a reason why they chose WI and NBL (and not CYT and FTL) as singles during a period when whitney could have not promote them or make videos!!!!! Remember Clive talking about "every song on this album is a possible single"...they wont quit the album here. we should hope for clive and whitney to still have a Plan for this album COS IF THEY DON'T THEN THEY WON'T HAVE ( or care having it ) ALSO FOR THE NEXT ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They will not be relleasing any new material from this album, - see Leona Lewis as well. The music industry has changed alot. I follow several other singers re new releases and new music and many of them are struggling and they're younger artists. The most I see them doing at some point is maybe dropping the price online. What they should do is have Whit do a Thanksgiving special, put it on tv, lower the price, re-release her xmas album with a new song, lower the price and she should be good for the rest of the year. I do not think whitney should speak on her voice or this tour in an interview until she is at a point to consistently back up her improvements. The media has been very cruel, I would not give them a morsel at this point because they will just turn around and bite her. She has time because interest in her is still very high. Odd, i know.

I think that is ridiculous that you think the US is not gonna "Appreciate" Whitney but look at what Whitney is getting from the Overseas media right now. If Whitney does a anything it have to be dedicated like a US tour i'm sure she will do it right...
