David demands singers who can hit the notes spot on and he thought that what he had in Whitney would be eternal. Whitney is a slap to his ego. Whitney was her own woman and would never give into David's demands. David surrounds himself with weak women, women who are easily intimidated by him. Whitney was not.Whitney Houston is David Foster's favorite singer. Trust this. He'll hold on and sing Celine's, Charice, Jackie's praises all day long but only Whitney sings the way in which he intended his songs to be sung.

He said discipline, natural talent, and above all he stressed say NO, no, no, no to drugs! I can see that as a slight hit at whitney. Then I thought, whoopie was on drugs, lol. So David corrected himself and said "except you whopie... you came through ok and successful." Ha! First of all, David Foster annoys the crap out of me. Secondly, how did he get his hands on this poor girl? Is he trying to destroy her career like he did Charice's and that little red-haired girl he hauled around until he dropped her for Charice? I wish I could contact these little girls and tell them to stay away from that man! He will use them as long as he can, and undoubtedly produce a dreadful, boring album for them that flops.I'm sure it was some kind of slight toward Whitney, but he needs to shut his mouth she has made him a lot of money and earned him a couple Grammy Awards. I'm sure he is egocentric enough to think he made her a lot of money. Regardless, why doesn't he just stop working with her then? Oh yeah, because she makes him money, had a #1 top selling album in 2009 and performed his song at TWO high profile events. Get over yourself David. Whitney has had and continues to show her longevity in music. If he was insinuating that about someone else, than SORRY, lol.

For a long long time I've tried to find the words to express what I feel about D. Foster. You have come very close to it. I feel very much the same. One thing that I know for sure about Whitney is that she knew she could sing, she knew what she could do with HER voice and I truly believe she has put him in his place. It's easy to ask people to do what you think they should be when you don't have the talent to do it. David may demand his singers hit all these keys, but he cannot and I think that is crossing the line. It is ok to suggest it, but let the artist find their way...
